3 Point and Moonee Valley Race Club have teamed up to form an award winning partnership in its new Premium Industry Rewards Program. Introduced to raise already high stakes for jockeys and trainers competing in the 2010/2011 Sportingbet Night Racing season, the promotion raised the excitement levels at trackside in the stables to fever pitch.
The program allocated rewards points to trainers and jockeys based on actual prize money, with 3 Point Motoes offering the richest prize to a trainer in Australia- a $134,000 GL350 Mercedes Benz.
It all came down to one race between Cristal Lily and Black Caviar. In the end, the champion sprinter Black Cavier stole the show, overtaking her rival to cross the line with confidence. With the win, she passed the magic $1million prize money mark, rewarding trainer Peter Moody with the Mercedes-Benz from 3 Point.
Black Cavier's Performance has seen her heading the lists of the top 50 active thoroughbred racehorses in the world. Her name is synonymous with grace, power and performance. Reminds one of a certain automobile company.
